I stayed at Albergo Ottocento with my family for 7 nights including Christmas. Booked two rooms. We managed to get both rooms near by. They were both very confortable and super clean. They were made everyday and cleaning lady was super nice. The bathrooms were spacious, very clean and nice, although the shower a little uncomfortable and a little slippery and dangerous for an elderly. Also, if you didn't get up and took a shower early enough, you ended up taking a not so warm shower which happened the first morning. Knowing this, and considering it was an old building, the rest of the mornings we woke up a little earlier so we didn´t encounter that problem again and it helped us take more advantage of the days. It was exactly what we wanted. Centrally located where we could walk everywhere and with breakfast included. Breakfast was good though it could be a little better, maybe in terms of having more fresh fruit. The bread toaster though was horrible. Difficult to manage and very easy to burn yourself with. Aside from that, breakfast is good and complete, perfect for a day of touristing and sightseeing. The staff could be nicer and more eager to help! They even helped us with the "Santa" fantasy for our 9 year old. In all, a jewel of a stay in the beautiful city!

I really enjoy my stay at the hotel. Everyone was really friendly and kind. Even when we had a little misunderstanding, we were able to move things around and resolve it without any discomfort to both sides. The location was perfect. 5-minute walk to Fontana di trevi and 15-minute walk to pantheon. We even went to colosseum and roman forum by foot (although we spent around half an hour walking). The subway was very close as well for when we went to the Vatican museum (only four stops). I would also like to point out that the rooms were very clean with a great vibe. The bathroom was spacious and I counted three huge mirrors with plenty of light to do makeup and get ready. I was pleasantly surprised that there was an elevator because the building wasn't new and we were able to move our luggage to our rooms without having to carry them. An overall nice experience, given the opportunity I will visit them again in the future!

The location was spectacular, just a few minutes walk form Spanish steps and Fontana di Trevi. The main purpose of our journey was sightseeing and this hotel was ideal because the most important spots (besides Vatican) are approachable by foot. We took a half-board option and although we arrived late the first evening our dinner waited for us in our hotel room (we asked the hotel staff for that since we already paid it). The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good (salami, cheese, bread, jams, croissants, etc.) but everyday the same without any vegetables. Dinner included two courses, besides a few dishes which were not that tasty, the food was very good. The staff was great!

This is a small hotel in an excellent area near the Spanish Steps and just steps from a Metro stop. The area has a number of interesting restaurants and shops but is not a super crowded "tourist" area. The hotel has a nice rooftop (and indoor) restaurant and a bar. The rooms are a bit small by American standards but the king size bed was good (ask for extra pillows if you like your head up). Rooms are different some with only shower some with tub/shower. No views but nice buildings across the street. We stayed on "first" floor (second in America). Only thing keeping it from perfect score was funky bath/shower which really was just fine, just different.

The location of the hotel was good, close to the metro station and we could walk to some some tourist spots. Staff was friendly and discreet. Alex, at the reception, was very professional, who gave us useful information about locations, restaurants and things to try. Thank you
